What is the role of a paralegal in a personal injury case? I kind of look at the paralegal as the foot solider in this ongoing battle with the insurance company. The paralegal will meet with the client, obtain information on my behalf and will gather documents and records that we need to process and present this for our client to the insurance company. They work under my direction and consult with me routinely to make sure that they are doing the right thing to benefit the client and to obtain the maximum possible recovery for our clients. So a paralegal is an individual who is going to help me help my clients succeed in their personal injury case.
